I've always felt a special connection with dogs, starting from a young age. Over the past five years, I've dedicated my time to volunteering at animal shelters, walking shelter dogs, and gaining invaluable insights into their personalities and behaviors. I understand firsthand how stress and fear can impact a dog's well-being, which is why my focus is always on helping them feel safe and comfortable, even in the shelter environment.
When interacting with shelter dogs, my goal is simple: to get them out of the building and let them enjoy themselves. Whether it's exploring new scents, engaging in playful activities, or simply offering a comforting cuddle, I strive to provide them with the love and care they deserve.
With over 20 years of experience in animal sitting, I've cared for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and needs. From dogs with dementia to those requiring special medication regimes, I am adaptable and committed to meeting everyone’s unique requirements.
Beyond my love for dogs, I find joy in snuggling with my own cat, Daniel, and indulging in my hobbies, such as learning new things, enjoying the outdoors, and dabbling in a bit of gardening.
While I am a licensed massage therapist by profession, my background also includes various roles in the human service field, including direct support professional, mental health practitioner, and para in a special education preschool classroom. This diverse experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of care and compassion, which I bring to every interaction with your beloved pets.
